Trump reminds me of guys I've known over the years who can't have a smart girlfriend with a degree or whatever, because they have to have a girlfriend that's dumber than they are to feel superior. Trump being a sexist, is the same with women in general IMHO, he can't be surrounded by women smarter than he is so he always appoints dim wits, bimbos, crackpots and idiots (the only woman smarter than him he tolerates is his daughter Ivanka). With the men he just wants yes men and sycophants, it's why guys like the Mooch or John Bolton didn't last long. Lastly there's his financiers like Elon Musk, he can't say no to them so he's stuck with them.
