The Western World Should Boycott The 2024 Olympics
Having Russia and Belarus participate is offensive in every conceivable way
The recent decision by the International Olympic Committee Executive Board to allow participation by Russia and Belarus in the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in France is a slap in the face to Ukraine, to all democracies everywhere, and to every nation that believes in the rule of law. Even allowing them to participate as “neutrals” is obscene and does nothing to lessen the insult of this deeply misguided decision by an institution that is overrun by cowardly members who are committed to political correctness above all else.

“The members of the International Olympic Committee Executive Board who made this decision bear responsibility for encouraging Russia and Belarus to continue their armed aggression against Ukraine," the Ukrainian foreign ministry said. Athletes from Russia and Belarus have faced sanctions from a multitude of sports since Moscow launched its assault on Ukraine in February 2022, but a number of sports have eased restrictions over the past year.…
