The Right To Be Russia

Putin's recent declaration of his intention to conquer the entire world if need be to protect the Russian people's "right to be Russian", wherever they are.

On November 28, 2023, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin gave a speech at meeting of a group calling itself the World’s Russian People’s Congress. This is a far-right MAGA like group of Russia sycophants that has it’s collective lips permanently attached to Putin’s derrière. At one point during his speech, Putin made the fantastical claim that “Russia had nowhere further to retreat." The inference being that NATO had pushed up against Russia’s borders so far that Mother Russia had nowhere left to go. This was part of the old Russian BS about NATO encircling Russia to the point that it it had no choice but to defend itself from the Western onslaught. Missing from that delusional theory is the fact that before Finland was forced to join NATO due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the border of NATO member’s touch only about 6% of Russia, or about 754 miles.
