The Real Reason America Lost Our Democracy

(and it isn't Russian, Chinese or Iranian infiltration of our government)

The multi generational plague of stupidity permeating our nation and its broken education system (at all levels) has finally allowed a functionally illiterate fascist and his group of brainwashed cult members to come to power and systematically destroy what took 250 years to build. This mass destruction of our constitutional republic will take many years to repair, if it can, in fact, ever be repaired. I am as ever, optimistic, but I have my doubts. We are just too ready as a nation to accept stupidity, cruelty, and an incurious anti-intellectual mindset to even attempt to turn this catastrophe around. Sadly, the will and motivation is just not there to do so.

Sorry, but I will not be celebrating this depressing national birthday on Saturday.
