Within minutes of the first reports that long time MAGA influencer and Trump BFF Charlie Kirk had succumbed to an assassin’s bullet while speaking at Utah Valley University, Donald Trump was calling for revenge against the “radical left.” Trump’s deranged and dangerous statements were so egregious that in any other era in American history they would more than qualify him to be removed from office via the 25^th Amendment for being unfit for office. But this is not any other era. This is the era of American institutional and societal insanity, an era witnessing a complete and total breakdown of the U.S. body politic where it is plunged into a world of mirrors, a era of a dangerous psychosis where the ruling oligarchs project their own evil machinations onto their political opponents and all Americans who disagree with them.
