Russian Propaganda and the Stupidity of the MAGA Mind

Top Republicans admit their party is infected with Russian propaganda and ideology.

If you try telling your typical neighborhood MAGA member that many, if not most, of the Facebook and other social media ads and comments attacking liberals and made from 2016-2020 were actually posted by Russian bots and trolls in an attempt to influence the election, they would either tell you that you are part of the false, woke mainstream news swamp, or they might even take a swing at you. In any event, they won’t believe you because they are so deep into the delusional cult of Trump that the only thing that will wrench them out of that lunacy is death itself. If you try to tell them that Russia is directly targeting members of Congress in order to further divide America, they probably wouldn’t care, or they might even say, “I hope they succeed!”
