Regarding the wealth fund money held mostly in Brussels and some of it Washington (or somewhere in the USA). You do hear a lot of russia pundits talk about "setting a precedent" in the financial world, that could be a "slippery slope", some very prominent pundit's like Mark Galeotti for instance, and I'm thinking "really Mark ? Of course a Russophile would say that". There is no precedent to worry about, this case is an exception, because as you pointed out Mr Debatto, russia is a criminal country that waged an illegal war of aggression against us in Ukraine. Countries that don't wage illegal genocidal wars have nothing to worry about, their money will be safe. I really would like to see that money go to helping rebuild our bombed cities and homes in the east when this war is over, if ever. So there's plenty of time to get the decisions made in the halls of power to get that money released to Kyiv. and put in a trust fund for rebuilding or war costs.

My thoughts exactly. Besides, what can Russia do in response, sue Belgium? This issue is one of the most tragic and embarassing ones for NATO, the EU and the West generally.
