Use the $300 billion in frozen Russian assets as a down payment on rebuilding Ukraine
After the full-scale illegal and genocidal invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces on 24 February 2022, the collective West froze approximately $300 billion in Russian assets located in Western banks. Those funds have sat there ever since gathering digital dust. Despite the fact that Russia continues to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure and kill and wound Ukrainians on a daily basis, no move has yet been made to use any of that seized Russian money to help Ukraine defend itself or rebuild its infrastructure. Why?
