Adding a News Roundup

I sincerely hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. If you did, then you are probably still recovering:-) In recognition of the new year, I am announcing a change in how I post here on this platform. My format on LinkedIn that was composed of using several short posts to cover important stories and information from around the world was very popular among my followers and connections. Accordingly, I have decided to adjust the format here to do somewhat of the same thing. I will still publish longer analysis and opinion pieces, but I will also research and include several short posts with information from many different international platforms so you don’t have to. I hope that in the future you will use Protecting the Republic as one of your main source for some of the most important stories, analysis (and humor) of the day, just as many of you did on LinkedIn.

Having said that, here is the first of today’s stories.
